For a base one:
The TT-01 tamiyas and the E10 HPI are ok

next up is a Sprint 2 Drift like this

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXTHM7&P=ML

fully RTR with a 15t motor so decent speed. just need batteries.

up from there is things like Xray T2007/08, Tamiya TRF415 or evo's HPI Pro 4 etc..... If you have radio gear already i'd recommend one of these off rctech second hand. you get almost new carbon touring cars on here all the time for cheap.

i have a new 2007 corally RDX PHi with a new GTB/3.5R combo and spektrum receiver which i got for $440...... worth well over $1000 to buy new so i'd just keep a look out. otherwise go for the sprint 2 if thats more your price range. this is a great car for drift.

go to www.groovydrift.com or sydneyrcdrifters too. They have for sale sections and lots of setup help for whatever you get

good luck
Alex
