if the crankcase is the same as the earlier generations then you should in theory be able to run the GX series carbs with no mods in the earlier gen engines
Just a thought.
the cranks are interchangable as the are just a coated 5.5 and the PSR sets as far as I'm aware are still the same part #.....
But I could be wrong
