I don't know what carpet you are referring to, but if it is anything like ozite that we race on over here (US), Jaco yellow or orange rears, and anything from magenta to lilac front should get you roughed in. Use the same traction compound everyone else is. Otherwise you are just making chemical soup on the track, and grip will always be erratic.
