Break-in was very easy; heat cycled like a dream. I'm not sure if this engine is known for having lean-bog issues, but as soon as it was ready for the track, it was lean-bog city. The needles are set pukingly rich, although the lean problem still exists (especially during mid acceleration). I reset the needles, tried again, and no luck.
Sometimes this erratic behavior can be attributed to an airleak, but it idles nice and temps are in the reasonably low 200's. I'm using a healthy jug of standard Byron 30% fuel, AE 2035 pipe and matching manifold, with a P3/P4 plug. Fuel tank and tubing are new as well.
In the past four years, I haven't had any issues like this with Vspecs or RB's. If someone could throw a few words of advice my way, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bogging in mid power band means you are lean on the bottom. Richen it 3 hours and you should be good to go.
I pull Speed 2's with my Reedy.
