And is this not bad for the battery since it's not being the inflow of current isn't consistent?
The reason I ask is that I used this charger for the 1st time to cycle a new receiver pack, and the pack failed the 1st time I used it. It would appear to be fully charged (even on another charger), but its voltage would almost immediately drop-off to around 5.5V (it's a 6V pack) when being used.
