It's completely not necessary for your apps but I REALLY like the 4pk from Futaba. Got to handle one from a local racer and it's just an awesome feeling radio in every way. The features it has are more then what the average person would ever dream of using and it's $450 price tag is pretty ridiculous. But it's the Bugatti of radios and one that will never be out of date.

If you're already rockin an $800 buggy, $350+ kit (after electronics) why not get the top of the line radio too?
