I couldn't say I really ended up with the needles set differently (although I haven't checked), But I did get a good tune far faster than tuning HSN first.

Can't believe it's still got pinch, But once warmed up she runs lovely. Just waiting for it to fully run in now to see if I gain a little run time.

Sweet, glad the system works. That's how Mark at Massive Mods recommends you tune the long needle carbs, and if anyone knows about these motors it's him.
You will gain some run time and some more power when the 7 Port is fully bedded in. I reckon around 7 litres for the newer Gen 5.5 and GX motors.
What clutch set up are you running ? I always found 3 x 1.1 springs worked well on the 7 Port, as they just need a little more time to clear out and wind up before the clutch hits than the 3 or 5 Ports.
