Gives you a higher final drive ratio (FDR) for brushless motors...perfect! Allows you to run reasonably sized spur gears (for better gearing options...less differential between gearing changes).
FYI...I use the shorter wheelbase on both carpet and asphalt with my original Phi. It is the bong for all my local tracks!
