Out of interest I tried this same needle in my modified 5 Port, but it does not run as good. Has a little hesitation in the rev range just as the needle comes out of the spray bar that can't be tuned out. I am assuming the engine was modded around the long taper of the newer LSN needle and the sudden removal of the shorter needle from the spray bar makes it run a tad rich for an instant. Any thoughts on this. It's not a problem because I use the original long LSN in this motor and it kicks arse, but was just interested to hear your thoughts.
I have a question ? Ive been reading on here about the lsn sizes that there is a short and long one. Does this also pertain to the GO .25 ? And if I have the long lsn in my .25 should I cut it down ? How long is the long lsn and what should be the size after cutting it ? Will this help with tuning on a GO .25 motor ? Thanks for the info guys...
