Default Antenna for a JR Receiver

I recently purchased a used radio and receiver combo. The receiver is a JR Racing R-125 75 MHz AM Receiver. Everything seems to work fine but the antenna on the receiver seems short. Not suprisingly, when installed in my car, it is the exact same length as the antenna tube itself. My bet is that the person who had this before trimmed the antenna wire to be the same length as the tube. I haven;t had the car out on the track with this radio in it yet but, I've heard that trimming the antenna wire is a not a good thing to do.

So, first off, does anyone know where I can find a replacement antenna for a JR R-125 receiver? If not, does anyone know how I can go about making one. I assume all I need is the proper gauge/type of wire and the correct length but I have no clue where to get that kind of info.

Any help would be great.
