First, it is not my Reflex, it is my friend's that we raced together, and I knew my wife was trying to buy me one for X'mas, and I kinda worry about that cause I don't really think this new car is as easy to setup as my SB12 SE....but, will see.
(1) How thick of what..? The carbon fiber chassis..? If that is what you mean, I THINK it is exactly the same as our SB12SE....which is 3mm....not 100% but I can measure it for you when I see my friends R12.
(2) Yeah, sure they are titanium made Servo and Cutom made Novak XXL in blue that match the chasssis.........NO, I was just kidding, my friend just spray paint the case so it blend into the ugly blue chassis (really, I found that blue ugly....traditional black/grey is much better looking...)
(3) I don't know personally cause I didn't own that car, but my friend used to have the SB12SE and he can TQ and A1 most of the races, untill he switch to this REFLEX, he can barely get to the top 3....it is the car, and it is not the car, but overall, this car is NOT EASY to setup correctly cause the extremely low CG (from him, he think they are WAY too low)
(4)...Since you are from UK, you can try TOWER Hobby, but SPEEDTECH RC (you can see their ad from this site) and this place
KT hobbies are selling it for around $200 US plus shipping, I think they are the lowest price that I have ever seen.....but not 100% sure they do international shipping, but give them a email and I am sure they will let you know...but 1 thing for sure from Speedtechrc, they don't usually stock too many of any rc kit (or anything), once they are gone, they are gone for a long time, and I know for a fact that Tower Hobby only have a few left, even my dealer account from Tower told me that I have to wait untill late December to get the Reflex 12 (as a dealer), so if I have to have my wife to buy me one (for personal use), I might have to contact Steve from speedtechrc and get one.
(5)....check the last couple pages of this thread, I think I saw someone posted that they have Reflex12 instock under their name/store....and their price are the same as speedtechrc and KT Hobbies.
