There are probably some readers of this thread in the US looking for a Venue to run a little bit faster than 4 cell/13.5 in their world GT cars. Well here is the Venue in Early November. This flyer is also posted in the proper places, an early edited copy is posted here. This race will be hosted by my Home track, Mikes-HobbyShop.com. It will be a warmup to the coming World IFMAR IC championship in 2010 at this same facility. The ROAR president, Dawn Sanchez will be attending to inspect the facility. Here is a description of our two electric classes that we plan to run.


Open Mod TC
Roar Rules which include: rubber tires on pavement, 6 minute heats (5400 mA-h 2s LiPo reccomended). Exception: 1425 gram race weight as used at the IIC for rubber tired LIPO Touring Cars.

World GT Petite Lemans (spec class)
World GT rules, Exceptions: Novak HV 10.5 (spec motor). Orion 3800 2s LiPo (spec Battery), any 1/10 pan foam front tire. 42 ounce minimum, 2 inch spoiler chord rear wing.

Both of the MASTERS and ELECTRIC classes are dependent on a minimum of 10 entries in the respective class

Rocket Round Qualifying - 2 on FRI - 3 0n SAT
All Finals on SUN


Fees
$40 per class entry
$20 per pit space - Includes table, electricity,overhead cover, lights

Upon receiving your email entry (Must include all of the above information) you will be sent a confirmation email within one day with an invoice and instructions on how to pre-pay for your entry. The instructions will give you the option to pay by check or credit card.

Fuel will be available at the hobby shop which is located trackside. You may want to contact the hobby shop in advance and arrange for fuel to be reserved. The local hobby shop phone number will be in the confirmation email. Come and enjoy all of the major improvements that the track owner has made; New larger and smoother track surface; Improved and more challanging layout; Larger full service snack bar; And much more.
