So for a brushless e-revo you are going to spend about $650 right? Then need to buy batteries and a charger. LEts say you get those for $150 (a little low probably). You are into that revo with no extras or spares for about $800.

I just bought an e-maxx with aluminum skids, RPM arms, BB shocks, extra tires, bag, batteries, and lots of spares for $350 shipped. I got a Superbrain 977 on e-bay for $65 shipped. So I am into this maxx for $415 and can upgrade motors and radio for about $250 on the low end. If I upgraded I would be into this truck for less than $700 and have a bunch of spares and nice aftermarket parts making it faster and more durable.

All of the posts on this page are personal opinion for the most part, but mine is facts. Can I beat a stock e-revo in a race, i don't know and won't find out because I just bash.
