You're jacking this guys thread but you won't have a problem with a 7.4 lipo. The 7.2v on a nimh and the 7.4v on a 2S lipo are nominal voltages, fully charged a nimh pack starts with more voltage than a 2S lipo, around 9v+ with a nimh and 8.4v with a full lipo. Any ESC/receiver that can run a 6-cell nimh pack can run a 2S lipo with no problems.
