Lets not get too carried away here. The Open-X pod is by far "weak". Compared to the old style full pods, yes, I suppose it is weaker. But I can say without hesitation, that the Open-X pod can take a beating without needing replaced. When I crash, I crash hard, and I have never bent a pod plate on my GenX and it is the same one that came new with the car the day CRC released the first GenX cars....

Now, with that said, I am sure someone can bend the pod plate, just like someone can break the chassis, or break/bend a rear axle...
