The 8 comes with a 590 which only has about 89oz or something like that, and it does the job fine. I use a hitec with 130oz and it works fine. you have to remember that you dont need a huge amount of torque when the buggy or truggy is actually rolling. I spent $115 on a hitec titanium gear ultra torque servo and it turnes the wheels just as fast and efficient as a Hitec $39 one.
