I was wondering if I could run my LRP TC spec on 14.8v / 4s lipo ?

This is to run my 1/8 electric conversion buggy, I also will be running a Speed passion 6.5r 1/8 motor, I have seen a TC spec modded in RC car action when the did the review on the Accosiated conversion kits and was wondering what was involved in it.

My only reason for wanting to do this is I can't afford to buy a new 1/8 ESC right now and have a spare TC Spec lying around nd a Buggy with no ESC.

Or would I be better off running it on 7.4v and using a Novak 4.5 1/8 motor ?

I won't be racing it just bashing around. For now till I can afford a decent ESC.

Any help would be great.
