nagatahawk, you represent the majority of on-road racers out there and I am with you on this. Most of us are quite happy to race at the club level and to us having a reasonably quick class of cars to race that have super realistic bodies and wheels is all we ask. Most are'nt interested in racing at the national level, they can't afford it and don't have the time to dedicate to that level of racing. Leave that to the guys who want the $400-500 touring cars with the run-out sheets, the tire truers, the laptops, $500 chargers, $300+ dollar bl motor/esc, etc. etc.
We club-racers don't have super deep pockets and appreciate a cost-controlled series (not neccessarily a spec class, just cost-controlled) where each time we show up to race we know we each have a realistic chance of winning. Does'nt get much better then that!
