Default Agree!!

Hello Nipple / Viper / PHLIM....

Agree with you guys....we're all here to have a competition with some fun thrown in as well. Its nice enuf already that some people have taken the time and effort to organise some form of racing for all of us who have spent so much time and $$$ on our hobby. If not for these few guys, we'd all be running in some carpark lot somewhere on our own.

So what if there were not enuf tables, we use to sit on the grass or had to bring our own tables/chairs just a few years back when we were running off-road buggys! Even electricity was reserved for the lap counter and computer (we had to rent a generator for that!!).

Sharing tables isn't such a bad idea, race day is also time to socialise and meet new people anyway. The informal atmosphere is also a welcome change. I don't think we need special 'tones' to tell us when to start, a 'beep' from Terence is the same as a 'beep' from a computer....we're suppose to pay attention anyway.

Remember, this isn't some IFMAR Championship race meeting with Big Name sponsors, we're the only ones 'sponsoring' ourselves. Keep it simple and fun, and we can get more ppl interested and racing. 47 participants is not a great turnout, rope in more friends and get them started, we don't just need 20 drivers to make up a A or B main.....we need 70 novice, beginner drivers to make the C, D, E and F mains. These are the numbers that would allow race organisers to provide proper facilities etc.

Only 1 nit-picky comment. Gotta make the track a little stronger coz it kind off 'changes' during the day (even during mid-racing!).

All in all, the venue for the RCMC race is really nice, lets hope that the organisers can continue to use the place and hold races regularly throughout the year.
