In March and April we finished our 1/12 season there and there were dozens of packs available. Indoor racing has been virtually non-existent there since then and won't pick up until it gets cold again so, they should have plenty.
I really don't think these are or were some kind of "special tire" not available to the masses. I think most places just didn't pick up on them.
The Jaco Oranges aren't a "special" tire, but they are "special order" through Jaco via your LHS's Jaco distributer. They are not available online currently.
