Absolutes are a dangerous thing
, untill the local asphalt track was resurfaced I had to run a 5-6mm and was still rubing in the sweeper in some areas. Even if it only were to articulate 1mm if that happened where the car was dragging it could be an issue, allbeit a small consideration as most 1/12 racing is done on carpet nowadays. I'm not against your idea just thinking outloud and wondering.
