I know that on my B4 when I was running it the standard steel shafts ccored and scratched like mad. You had to rebuild the shocks alot! I got the nitrate coated ones and rarely had to touch them.
I have the nitrates on my TC3 and have yet to need a rebuild on them since I traded for months now (not counting oil wt. changes).
Nitrates (Gold/unobtanium) shafts are the way to go, who needs extra maintence.
