Power cap installation
I am in the process of installing a RS into my Cyclone S running a Novak 17.5s and have some questions regarding the cap.
1. Is it better to run the 330uf cap that comes with the unit or a G11 cap which is rated for 1000uf, both are rated at 16v?
2. Is there a benefit to running dual caps in a 17.5 application, or is a single cap enough?
3. What should I expect for performance for this system? I expect to have access to the hotwire system while I race and can make adjustments to the speed controller if needed. I am not looking to be uber competitive (novice racer), however I don't want to ruin my equipment with faulty operation/expectation.
4. Motor Timing. For those that are running the Novak motor what timing are you running on the can? If it is not stock out of the box any pics of how you have adjusted the timing.
