Ill probably go to direct just because I don't plan on changing anything in this car once I'm done building it.
My method is do 5mm or bigger bullets then put heat shrink over it. heat shrinks are easy to cut off for maintenance and easy to put back on but keeps it water proof and prevent corosion.
