There are acouple of reasons a smaller diameter wheel is nice I came up with acouple of reasons.
- Lower profile on the side wall will allow the car to react faster to driver in puts.
- Less likely to traction roll as the foam wont collapse enough on the outside of the rim.
- Less rotating mass on the wheel, faster acceleration.
- Smaller wheels wont rub on the body, and are less likely to chunk.
All of these should allow the car to be faster on the track.
