I have had RB engines for about 10 years, your money ahead by buying factory parts, it will fit best with the best quality in materials, you can try other brands that may fit, but when you have a bushing in the rod go out, if it's the wrist pin bushing, you will most likely need to replace the piston when they go, if the bottom bushing goes out, good chance cracking the engine case.
