most kits are done in Matt Todd, i got my t2 anodised back when i did it int he shiney, the shiney looks good actually, and might actually help in keeping the tolerances as when they strip the old anodising there's a small amount of alloy that might be lost (we're talking like microns, but you know).

the shiney would look really nice with a black, or a red, or blue, maybe matt is better in say a pink, or a gold.

he also does a clear coat, so you can take the parts to a metal polisher, then get the dude to clear coat it for a chromed look

the shiney helps preserve the colour as it's a clear coat. Just after anodising, wash the parts in a soft soap with warm water, or a very mild detergent to get the residue off, and to make the parts look bright. they look a bit dull after the work due to the chemicals and stuff.
