sounds like you might have fried one or more of the''fets'' in the speedy pull it apart and you will see them sometime they have little bubbles on them when there gone.
if you open it then your guarantee is void !!!
if you have tried a new motor and cable at the same time then the speedo is cooked , send it back to LRP and you will get a new one !!!!
