i agree but $50-60 for a R7 rod and $18 for a go rod ill keep buying the go rods and use the saved $ on fuel
anyhow chances are buy the time the R7 rod wears out it will be time to replace the crankshaft due to excess crankpin wear and at least with the go rods i can afford to change them at every gallon which helps keep my crankpins from wearing oblong or out of round.
also if i were to buy a braand new novarossi i will break it in using a go-rod then stick the R7 rod back in.
