When the engines are brand new the con rod is a snug fit on the gudgeon pin, and quite often you have difficulty in sliding the con rod along the pin until 10 tanks or maybe more. Once things bed in the rod will slide along the pin and you will be able to pop the rod of the crank pin and remove the piston. Don't force it. Just run it in and go hard. You can be sure everything is sweet inside if it came from Mr MASSIVE
