Default Sealing a carb

Hey,

I believe I am going to need to seal my carb. I am unable to get my idle correct because I cannot get the idle gap down to 1mm without the engine leaning out. I think it is leaking on the idle screw.

So my question is. Do you think that this is what would cause this? If so what should I do to seal the carb up. If not what would? What is the process you guys have used? And lastly what should I be checking when taking apart the carb and reseal it up.

This is my first time ever sealing a carb and I want to make sure I am doing it right.

Thanks
