Best bet is a 4S-capable ESC - such as used Mamba Max + BEC. THen, a higher KV motor to go with the 4S rather than a 5S battery. The Castle 2650KV and 4S is very fast. Medusa is going out of business and have lower-priced motors (of what's left). You could get whatever is still left at a fair price. Also, those Hobby City KD36-74 motors (The '9XL or '5XL) would work for bashing - but not more than a few minutes. Low price, could be fast but they get hot fast too.
