Usually anything electrical thats in a metal case needs to have its case grounded via the ground pin on the plug.

Things that are made allmost entirely of plastic don't have to have this but still have certain codes to meet. Running a ground wire to a chunk of plastic wouldn't accomplish much.


So if the MM PSU has a metal case.... then why deosn't it have a ground wire? That's messed up.


Thanks for the tip. I'll stick to my olde Optima battery power supply.
