But don't be afraid of some heat. 240 barely gets my motor close to where I want it to be. I can tell you at 218, it would be very dissapointing.
Most of the team has found that the P4 or the OD 97T produce more top end power (Reedy plugs just released, but compare to P3 and P4) than a P3 does.
I can say however that even at 260-270 degrees, the motor makes great power but never has that "screaming" sound some are used to (your previous ninja). Just because it isn't making as much racket, doesn't mean you're not going as fast. I run a 16 tooth on a RC8 and never get "pulled on" down the straights. I'll take the drivability and smoothness of the engine over eye opening top end anyday.
