Did you put in a new belt also?
bec use the distance is not changed as ar as I know...
But the tensioner in a higher position is always better..
No, the belt is the same that was in the 960-08, but i had the stiffner where the tensioner is secured unscrewed from the rear bulkhead. Maybe that was the difference ? Shouldn't be because it was still screwed to the radio plate support.
Anyway, i'm happy i had to soften the tensioner, i was just curious as to why.
