Cool Missing 5mm Bypass Holes in the Reedy 21???

I installed & raced my Reedy 21 in my RC8T,for the first time, Sat. 7/25 at Reo Raceway, in Indiana. It has a 14 tooth bell & 50 tooth spur, Dynamite MaxLife shoes, 1.1 clutch springs, 7/10/7 diff oils and AKA CityBlock tires. I finished 3rd Place in the Truggy A-Main. The motor runs good. It has an excellent bottom-end & good mid-range. All-in-all I really like the motor. I talked to Adam at AB Mods about the timing specs of the motor and he says it's really similar to the V-Spec. It dyno'd at 1.5hp & 56oz. of torque. I'm looking forword to heading to Whitehouse Hobbies in Tennessee to race tomorrow & do further testing.

Question(?): I have seen the engine apart (pre-production,) on RCTech(the pictures were from France) and the piston had 5mm bypass holes - does anyone have any idea why they omitted them in the final product? In my experience, they have been known to boost power & fuel mileage.
