My contention is if it is broken in and race prepped dyno tuned it should have the settings that it was tuned with, why reset the carb and make it rich? I have 2 EB Mod engines and put it in the car and break in 20 mins and then race with the same settings
I am disappointed bec I thought it would be the same Extech .21 race tuned engine like I had bought before. So spent more money on just being broken in, tuned and reset to rich, this does not help me and this is not what I expected hence the frustration right now.
It's not possible for them to send you an engine that's "tuned and ready to go" out of the box. Different fuels, different plugs, different pipe, altitude, temp, humidity. All those affect how the engine runs. Hell, you have to retune the same engine when the weather changes. If you got one before that ran without you touching the needles, that was just a stroke of luck. Tune the new one and let it rip.
