Being Fairly new and not knowing in R/C. Whats the diff in Graphite vs Carbon fiber in parts? Weight Flex tensile strength?I have gone thru all this in Fishing Rod Blank Composite evo Fiberglass Graphite Composites Carbon came in but never really took the place of Graphite too stiff. Is there a marked advantage
of graphite over Carbon?
You are right Fisher, Shamano Rod's had a limited span with carbon fiber, but because it was too stiff, and the lack of sesitivity, fadded out those model's. Graphite take's more material to be as stiff as carbon fiber. But with radio trays being so thin they both flex. I would not be able to tell the diffrence with the two because for what stiffness is needed graphite is fine. It's a little easier on the wallet too. I hope this help's because it's 3am here and FFG is typing this..(dont worry Fisher Im cofused..).R.
