I've had a Medusa 36-60-2000kv in a Jammin X1CR buggy and a Traxxas Nitro Revo converted. Heaps of power, highest temp I ever saw was 160f and that was on a 100 degree day after a 10 minute run and I'd forgotten to put the heatsink on the motor.
