The 16x5BL with 14amp power supply can be bought at
www.stormerhobbies.com for $209.99! The 16x9 is also on there site, but I'm not sure how much it is. The 16x5BL, and 16x9 have the same exact features, but as you already know the 16x9 has the power supply built in, thats the only difference.
I chose the 16x5BL due to ease of transporting, and future use. I dont know about you, but we dont have 120v at my track, so my car battery gets the workout. A smaller charger is easy to stow away in one of my pit boxes. The power supply can run my lathe, another DC charger, or anything else DC for that matter. Also I say for future use (seperate power supply) because there are always new chargers, batteries, gizmos,a nd gadgets that can run off of it. I wont need to replace my whole chager the next time I upgrade to a future 16x1000, or whatever.
