both the 3 and 7 port will be good for the buggy modded 3 port has good bottem end and top end even if you end racing at a track with large jumps out of corner no problems at all , the 7 port in the buggy is also a very good motor heaps of top end if its a fast flowing track i would use a 7 port but t eather of these with a 2072 pipe is a awsome combo
