Hi guys,
I have a small problem; My rotor has worn out where it touches en 'slides' between the bearings. Especially the side where the pinion is situated. The bearings are OK, but the shaft is completely worn out. I'm running a SP competion version 2.0 4.5T motor.
What could be the cause of this? Everything is installed 'spot on' in my car, so no play, no binding, no worn out pulleys or things of that nature. Could it be that the bearings heat up too much, or maybe the bearings can't keep up the revs? If so, would ceramic bearings be a better choise?
In order to make sure I'm going to buy the right rotor, could someone please tell me what the difference is between these rotors:
SP High RPM competition rotor for 4.5T
PN#RB13845
OR
SP Pro racing rotor for brushless 4.5T
PN#RA13845
And to complete my line of questions, which one is the stock rotor that comes with the motor??
I have no clue, can't find it anywhere...
Thank you in advance guys.
