Oh just buy the LCD, if you want to use the USB/PC/SOFTWARE updates on your 2.0 you dont have a choice.
BTW, no PRO ESC comes with the USB hardware, they are all conisdered options because you dont really "need" it to use the esc.
The only exeption is the GM 120 which comes with the USB harware ... but for $300 you should expect it.
