I think you are OK. I just checked mine, it went from 68F to 80F after a few minutes charging at 3.8 amps. I would expect a larger temp increase with your hotter air temp, and if you are charging at a higher amperage.

Try connecting the balance connector to the charger last, that’s what I have to do. And unhook it first. Or just hit the stop/start button if you forget.
