if it is still running good then it is what it is and leave it alone .
looks like you are replacing with a new rod ?
The engine was bought second-hand, so I'm just going over the mill to see how bad I got shafted. It actually still gets great compression, and yes, it's getting a new rod & rear bearing, but I've learned my lesson as to buying second-hand engines.
