The x.5 motors (non ribbed) are the full 540 size motors, rotor and all.
The full number motors (ex: 9, 13) with the ribbs are 380 motors, 380 windings and 380 rotor.

So the 17.5 is indeed a full 540 motor.

The mamba motors are a 540 windings motor with a 380 rotor in them, or so I have read on more than one ocasion.

2kg+ is towards the point of getting a bit heavy for the 380 motors (esp the 9t).
