IMO the RTR just makes more sense if you don't already own a good radio. It looks like the DX3S is a pretty good mid-level radio. And...I'm sure you could squeeze better performance outa the 454 and use it as a solid practice motor.

No alum hubs - why do you need them - i got a set for sale for $25 bucks - I used them once and it was no benifit for them ----so not worth it in my opinion
