If you place it on top of the piston it will wither go out the exhaust or out the glow plug hole and not touch the internals.
I'll let everyone know when I begin having issues with the o-rings.
Thats a very good point but I think thats why you turn your motor a couple rotations so it can get all the internals, etc.
