Ah the old debate sparks back up again!
I prefer the Deans as well because they are not so big and bulky. Some like the Traxxas for that same reason. I have used Deans for years and just as they were about to become standard along comes Traxxas to screw it all up. I saw a test several years ago showing how a properly soldered Deans had less resistance than an equal length of 12 guage wire. I would say thats just fine for me. If you are not very good at soldering and you need to have something to grab when you connect/disconnect, then Traxxas may be for you. I never have a problem with the Deans though, and Ill never switch as long as I have a choice.
