The D8 T is a great truggy, it will steer with the Losi, jump with the Losi and accellerate in straight line with the Losi. The 2.0 edges ahead because it puts power down in corners better than anything to hit the market. If your track is bumpy or has a large whoop section you will gain many feet per lap against the competition. You can overpower the losi with a nasty .28 and be able to use it with the proper set up. If you overpower the D8 T you will lose distance as you pull in the trigger.
